“I broke down the other night.”

I was sitting with my husband, trying to articulate my internal noise—the struggle of building a business, the weight of the world, and the personal battles that no one sees behind the “Strategist” title.
I was looking for a solution, a tactic, or a way out. But he looked at me and reminded me of a truth that the world hates to admit:
Suffering isn’t an obstacle to the story. It is the story.
He reminded me that suffering is part of the promise. It’s the very thing that stripped Jesus of everything so that the Father could be everything. He told me, “Beth, there is something you have to work out with Him.” I broke. How is this struggle something God is using to pull me closer to Him? The truth: He isn’t ignoring the pain; He’s using the gravity of it to bring you home.
“…and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.”
– Romans 8:17 (ESV)
In my brand, I talk about Reclaiming. Reclaiming our Ground, Hearth, Authentic Self. But the hardest ground to reclaim isn’t a zip code—it’s the ground of my own heart.
We live in a culture that treats “struggle” like a disease to be cured with a better habit or a new purchase. We think that if we are suffering, we must be doing something wrong. But what if the struggle is actually the Intel?
What if the our breakdowns are just the breaking of the “Inauthentic” shell so the “Authentic” spirit can finally breathe?
To the Builders out there who are tired: Your struggle isn’t proof that you’re failing. It’s proof that you’re being refined. You aren’t being crushed; you’re being pressed into a closer proximity with the Creator.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
And saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18 (NASB)
The Hearth isn’t just a place of comfort. It’s the place where the fire burns away what doesn’t matter, so only the Truth remains.
Don’t waste the weight. Let it pull you closer to the only Foundation that doesn’t shift. God. “I AM”.
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
— 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (ESV)

A Prayer for the Builder – When Weakness Is the Strategy:
When the night is long and the breakdown is real, sometimes the only tactic left is surrender. If you are struggling with the weight of the build today, this prayer is for you.
